Nana was discovered as a model in her second year of junior high school while she was in Shibuya. She was made an exclusive model of Seventeen immediately after becoming part of the entertainment world. When Nana was in junior high, she had also been part of the theater group there. In 2004, she started acting professionally, co-starring next to more popular actors like Itoh Misaki, Matsumoto Jun, Nagasawa Masami and Yamashita Tomohisa.
